2nd favourite editorial of all time

UK Vogue. October 2005. Glastonbury. Gemma Ward in her hey-day. Pure magic. This shoot is whimsical, whilst still being rock'n'roll. It's in-your-face, but still soft and mysterious. I think it shows Glastonbury in a whole new light, far from the paparazzi shots of Kate Moss in tiny shorts and muddy gum boots. Somehow, it manages to make a famously-grungey music festival look like a scene straight from a fairytale. And that's why I like it.

  1. WOW, gorgeous pictures. It's amazing how they've made it look so magical and ethereal when in reality, it's a lot of sweaty drunk people jumping around in the mud...
